wooden box, headphones, computer
Quiesenza (Omaggio a C) is a sound installation about time, language, history and perception.
The installation combines for ever the twenty-six letters of the English alphabet translated into morse code, slowly exhausting every possible language combination until the difference between history and pre-history, between past, present and future collapses in a single instant. Every thought, every neologism, every work of literature, philosophy or physics is currently being composed, said and simultaneously forgotten. Quiesenza (Omaggio a C) does not need a perceiver to exist.
